What to Expect
Dear GCC Guest,
Each Sunday morning at 9:30am our church body gathers in our Worship Center in Beavercreek, OH. After our main worship time, we hold classes for all ages with additional instruction from God's Word for all those who are interested from 11:15am - 12:00pm (during the months of September to November and January to May). Coffee is available every Sunday beginning at 9:15am in the lobby.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by one of our Greeters who will provide you with a copy of the weekly bulletin. This publication provides information about Sunday morning events, announcements, ministry opportunities and more. Our Greeters also provide assistance in locating the Nursery, Sunday School classrooms, Worship Center, and provide any other service you may need.
During your visit with us, we invite you to stop by our Resource Table where you will find information about:
• Church ministry opportunities
• Church beliefs and membership
• People to answer any questions you may have
Bibles are available for use during the service, please feel free to take one with you as a gift from us if you need one.
Our Worship Service
Our Worship Service is approximately one hour and thirty minutes long and includes prayer, singing of God-exalting hymns and songs in addition to an expository, verse-by-verse preaching of God’s Word. Dress is whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Our Nursery* is available throughout the duration of the service for ages newborn through 2 years old.
*Please note that Nursery is currently only available during Sunday School.
During the sermon, children will not be dismissed but we do have a Worship Training Room easily accessible from the Worship Center. In this room you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating and a large screen TV with a live feed from the Worship Center. Parents are invited to accompany their children to this room for the purpose of training them with respect to the worship service. Someone will be available to assist you if you have a need while using this facility.
During the last Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Table together as part of the Worship Service.
Immediately after the Worship Service we invite you to join us at our Fellowship Corner near the world map on the south wall of the Lobby. It would be our privilege to get to know you a bit better and answer any questions you have about our church, the gospel, or the message you heard.
