Praise God that we are in a position where we can love one another by pointing one another to the solid rock of Jesus in his word. And when would that not be the case? Only when we do not welcome one another in the Lord.

So Now What?
COVID-19 has brought with it distancing of the saints from one another. Most of us have spent the last couple of months cooped up in our homes with little interaction with the outside world apart from trips to the grocery store and virtual meetings. We now find ourselves in a strange time where we are working our way out of that isolation however, the threat that sent us there hasn’t gone away. Yet we know that God designed the church in such a way that we need one another. So where do we go from here? The following are some of my thoughts on how this process ought to look.

It takes a great deal of humility to defer to others, but it's what our Jesus calls us to do. After all, he showed the ultimate humility when he humbled himself, took on the form of a servant and went to the cross. He came not to be served but to serve and to give himself as a ransom for many.
So I call you, I call myself, I call all of us to "Agree in the Lord."

The topic is community in the church. Community is the true unity of brothers and sisters produced by sincere love expressed in the many “one another” passages in the Bible. This sounds like a piece of heaven here and now. But achieving it is messy at best. I’m going to divide this writing into two parts.
